Esrom's burial fund & family support

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support during an unimaginably painful time.

On May 11th, 2024, Esrom Abraha Fessehaye, the grandson of the late Aboy Keshi Atsbaha Debesai of Debre Eyesus Eritrean Tewahedo Orthodox Church of Houston, sadly lost his life in a tragic car accident that also took the lives of two others. This fundraiser has been started on behalf of Esrom's family to help his Mother Almaz Atsbaha, who is currently residing in Uganda, bury her beloved son and travel here for the services as well as his brother Eliud and sister Anna. Esrom was living in California and he will need to be brought home to Houston, Texas to his final resting place with his late Grandparents Aboy Keshi Atsbaha Debesai and Nighisti H. Mengesha.

Esrom will be remembered for his kind nature and high ambitions, he always put his family first in all decisions. Sadly his plans were shattered and his life cut short, and now his family will have to say goodbye. He was loved by so many - a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend - and will be missed beyond words.

We are deeply grateful for any support you can provide as they journey through this time of mourning and remembrance. Services will be announced as soon as possible.

This fundraiser is being hosted by the family of Eifream and Jennifer Atsbaha, by direct request of Esrom's mother Almaz Atsbaha.
