Recently, Amanda and I have gotten news that our son will need heart surgery within about a week. The possible need for a surgery was made aware to us before he was born, after testing we were finally told the severity of his condition and now action is being taken. He has what is called a vascular ring with a right aortic arch and it is restricting his airway approximately 84% which is cause for immediate attention which we are thankfully receiving from the medical staff. Unfortunately, this requires us to take our little guy to a hospital out of town and displaces our family for about a week. Travel expenses and medical expenses are likely to be quite costly and it has lead us to the decision to reach out for any help we can get, which is a decision that we don’t take lightly. This time is very stressful for us and our family and support of any kind is very much appreciated. Those of you that know us and would like to reach out are welcome to do so but please forgive us if it takes some time to get back to you as our lives just sped up quite significantly.
