Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help on behalf of my brother, Jorge(Joy), for my sister-in-law, Espie, who is currently in the final stages of lymphangitic carcinomatosis. Lymphangitic carcinomatosis is a serious and often advanced complication of cancer in which cancer cells spread to and block the lymphatic vessels in the lungs. This blockage causes inflammation and fluid buildup, leading to difficulty breathing and persistent cough. What we all thought was just a stomach pain led her to fly to Saipan Emergency Room where they discovered polyps and the horrible news of a gastric cancer. After being released from Saipan Hospital, She flew straight to Philippines and had been hospitalized since then. We all tried so hard for her to get better so that she can undergo chemo but the cancer is just causing her more and more unbearable pain.
As much as we pray hard for her health, we know that God is in control of everything and it is all in God’s hands right now. Watching someone you love suffer is heartbreaking, and the emotional toll has been compounded by the mounting medical expenses and day-to-day bills that have become too much for our family to bear alone.
Espie is a kind, loving, and strong woman who has always put others before herself. Even now, in the face of this devastating reality, she continues to try and fight for her husband, Jorge, But her condition has reached a point where the focus must now be on making her as comfortable as possible and giving her the peace and dignity she deserves.
Funds raised will go toward covering her hospital bills which is roughly $12,000 USD, pain medications, and daily medical expenses that have piled up during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and help ease the burden on her and our family.
If you’re unable to give, we kindly ask that you share this campaign with others who might be able to help. Your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer—means more than words can express.
With gratitude,
Princess Ayuyu
