Support Esperanza Christensen's Battle with Cancer
Donation protected
Hello Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
My mom’s name is Esperanza Christensen, and she is currently fighting the hardest battle of her life: Stage 2 metastatic breast cancer. The cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, making this journey more complex and physically demanding. I’m reaching out with deep humility and hope, asking for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or simply kind words and prayers.
Right now, my mom is undergoing an intensive treatment plan. she has already started chemotherapy, but due to dangerously low platelet counts, her doctors have had to pause it temporarily. In June, she is scheduled to undergo a double mastectomy. After that, she will begin radiation therapy—five days a week for six weeks—and once she has healed from that, she faces a second surgery for breast reconstruction.
This process is not just emotionally and physically draining—it’s also financially overwhelming. Between medical bills, time away from work, transportation to appointments, recovery needs, and basic living expenses, the costs are piling up quickly. Like many others facing cancer, I’ve realized that while insurance helps, it doesn’t come close to covering
If you’re able to contribute—no matter the amount—it would mean the world to me. Anyone who personally knows my mom ,whether you were her friend from work or my friend from school who got a ride from her and thought she listened to cool music. Mom has always taken care of the people in her life and taught me to value people over anything. The many years working at Home Depot my mom always helped with fundraising for her fellow coworkers when they were also having financial difficulties. When I was in school my mom would always make sure to give kids a ride home when they didn’t have a ride even with a set of twins and me and my best friend always around, she never hesitated to help out a person when she could. Now I am asking anyone else who can help to step up and give her the support and help she needs Every bit helps mom focus on healing instead of worrying about finances. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this journey. Being far away from my own mom while she is fighting for her life, it’s hard not to feel helpless. It would mean the whole world to both of us if you were able to help.
With love and gratitude,
