Hello, I need help to support my sister through her condition. Esmeralda has a condition called autoimmune disease and keeps having inflammatory problems that are affecting her everyday life. Autoimmune disease is a condition where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the individual's healthy cells, tissues, and organs, and unfortunately, there is no known cure for it.

She is 9 years old and has been suffering with inflammations since she was 7. She was diagnosed with her disease at 3 years old and has been dealing with this for 6 years. This condition has caused her to lose her hair and bleed when she uses the bathroom. She has been put on multiple medications, and some helped for a little while but haven’t stopped the progression of her condition. Since her condition keeps progressing, it has caused her to have ulcerative proctitis, and it has become painful for her. Her proctitis started last year; it was at the end of her colon and has now spread throughout the entire colon.

Esmeralda has been seeing doctors for her proctitis since then, and nothing has been helping her, so we think we should find a specialist in autoimmune diseases to help figure out a proper medication to stop or suppress her inflammations or try to get her different medications that could help her with the proctitis.

I need help to get money for her because these doctors and specialists aren't covered under her insurance and unfortunately we don't have the funds at the moment to get her the help she needs now. She is currently being hospitalized due to the severity of her bleeding, and I want to help her in any way I can so she doesn't have to suffer anymore. No child should have to go through any illness that prevents them from living their life to the fullest. Please help Esmeralda be able to get new doctors or see a specialist to help control her condition.
