Support the Esh Family in Time of Need

My dad, Bobby Esh, has suffered from an unexpected stroke on June 9th, 2021. His life was saved by his cousin Carl, who was thankfully working with him and able to recognize the early signs of a stroke. He was rushed to the emergency room where they were able to treat the blockage at an early enough stage to prevent severe damage to his brain. However, the stroke has unfortunately caused a speech impediment and a loss of functioning in the right side of his body. Previous to this, he has been working as a Master Sign Electrician for 27 years. The doctors have informed us he will never be able to return to work in that capacity. With intensive rehabilitation, he will hopefully return to 70%-90% recovery with extremely limited labor capacity.

This has created a very difficult situation for our family, which includes myself (his only daughter), my 3 brothers (Parker, Evan, and Cameron), and our mother (his wife of 32 years). He was the sole provider for our family in every way and this loss of income has created an immense need for readjustment. It has also been an emotional shock for the family, especially my siblings and I, to see someone who seemed so "invincible" to us, now appear so incapacitated. We want to support him with love and care as much as possible during such difficult times.

Our mother and his wife, Cindy, has been able to maintain part-time shift work for the past 13 years, which has provided medical insurance, and therefore has covered the majority of medical expenses for this occurrence. The eldest son, Parker, is taking over as the sole provider, until Bobby is hopefully able to return to work in some capacity. At the same time, Parker continues to provide financial support for his 2 young children. Taking on this heavy responsibility for his family is something he is more than willing to do, however it has caused a substantial financial burden. He has shown admirable strength in taking on this role to support our father and family in need.

My dad has always been an extremely hard worker and did everything he could to provide for our family. He has held strong for many years and always been selfless in his practices. He has always put others first and also given several individuals employment opportunities to provide for their own families, and even guided some under his direction in becoming Master Sign Electricians like himself. For these reasons, I am creating this fundraiser in hopes to return the favor for him and gather support for his recovery and keep our family afloat for the next few months while we work to return back to stable circumstances. The funds would include covering living arrangements for the family, food, outstanding business transactions, and other general living expenses.

Any amount of support would be graciously appreciated, and we thank everyone who continues to show us love and support during this particularly challenging period.
