This is an opportunity (in the spirit of mutual aid, not charity) to support a graduate student (we will call her "E") at the University of Washington. She needs $20,000 to cover her funding gap for her final year of school.

E is a second year graduate student from Palestine who hopes to someday return to her home in Northern Gaza to run a community healing practice. E came to the U.S. to study and enrolled in graduate school the week before Oct. 7th. She has since lost her home, her parents, her brother, and many members of her family. Throughout the last two and a half years, E has persevered and continued her studies with high marks.

As a result of the war and our current political reality, E has lost a significant amount of funding, and has agreed to this request. Due to safety concerns and past experiences of her personal losses being exploited, E has requested that we not share her personal identity here.
