I am sharing this with permission from Erykah’s mom. Many of you already know that Erykah was recently involved in a tragic incident and has been courageously fighting for her life over the past week and a half. It has been an incredibly emotional and overwhelming time for her family. The outpouring of love, concern, and — most importantly — prayers has meant the world to them. We are so grateful for each and every one of you who has kept Erykah in your thoughts. Those prayers are working. Though the road ahead will be long, we know Erykah is strong, and our faith is even stronger. We trust that God will continue to carry her through this journey toward healing. Many people have reached out asking how they can support the family beyond prayers. In response, we’ve created this page to help offset the financial strain — from medical expenses to time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that have come with this heartbreaking situation. Please continue to lift Erykah and her loved ones in prayer, and we kindly ask that you also continue to respect their privacy as they focus on her recovery.
