On January 7th, our family was shattered by the unexpected passing of our beloved cousin, Ernie, at just 38 years old. His loss was sudden, devastating, and far too soon. Ernie was more than a son, cousin, and friend. He was his mother’s primary caretaker, her steady presence, her support, and her heart. Tragically, she has now endured the unimaginable loss of both of her sons, each taken before the age of 40. No parent should ever have to bury one child, let alone two.
Because Ernie’s passing was unexpected, there was no life insurance in place. Our family is now facing the emotional weight of grief alongside the financial burden of arranging a proper funeral and burial. We want to honor Ernie with the dignity, respect, and love he deserves, but we cannot do this alone. We are humbly asking for support to help cover funeral and burial expenses so Ernie can be laid to rest peacefully, and so his mother can be spared additional hardship during an already unbearable time.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease this burden and allow our family to focus on grieving, healing, and supporting one another. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please consider sharing this page or keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this incredibly difficult time. It means more than words can express.
