Support Ernie's Fight Against Leukemia

Estas son solo algunas palabras que describen a Ernesto Velázquez Leco, conocido por muchos como Ernie. Con solo 29 años, Ernie ha sido un pilar de fe en su comunidad, dedicando su tiempo a guiar a los jóvenes, difundiendo positividad y viviendo su fe católica con una confianza inquebrantable en el plan de Dios.

Recientemente, a Ernie le diagnosticaron leucemia linfocítica aguda, una batalla que le cambió la vida y que ahora está enfrentando con el mismo coraje y fe que siempre ha mostrado a los demás. Incluso en medio de esta tormenta, Ernie se mantiene firme, diciendo:

"Puede que me sienta débil físicamente, pero espiritualmente me siento fuerte".

Durante el próximo mes, Ernie se someterá a un tratamiento intensivo en Charlotte. Esta será una de las batallas más duras de su vida, pero no está luchando solo. Como proveedor principal de su familia, la tensión financiera de los gastos médicos, los viajes y la pérdida de ingresos es inmensa.

At just 29 years old, Ernie has been a pillar of faith in his community, dedicating his time to mentoring youth, spreading positivity, and living out his Catholic faith with unwavering trust in God’s plan.

Recently, Ernie was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, a life-changing battle that he is now facing with the same courage and faith that he has always shown others. Even in the midst of this storm, Ernie remains steadfast, saying:

“I may feel physically weak, but spiritually I feel strong.”

Over the next month, Ernie will be undergoing intensive treatment in Charlotte. This will be one of the toughest battles of his life, but he is not fighting alone. As the primary provider for his family, the financial strain of medical expenses, travel, and loss of income is immense.
