Hi, my name is Lilly and I am Ernie's little sister.

I am coming to you all in hopes to fundraise sufficient funds for my oldest brother Ernesto or how most people know him as "Ernie", but to me he is my "Gordo". My brother is the pillar of our immediate family- he brings laughter, reassurance, endless love and adventure to each and every one of us.

He has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is to begin treatment with City Of Hope in the next two weeks. This has proven to be a difficult time and adjustment for all of us--specially for him.

Ernie has been a truck driver for 20 plus years and has taken a great honor in doing so! His job has taken him across the country to see all types of landmarks and most importantly provided him with a financial stability to provide for his family-parents, siblings, sons, nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Even though Ernie is always on the road-trucking away-he has always provided a sense of security to all of us if needed. He has never denied any of us any financial assistance, in the contrary he gives it with love!

During this time we ask for support in raising enough money to ease his worry about being away from work while on treatment. He is dearly loved by many- to us all he our Pops, Mijo, grampy, BIL (brother in law) and my Gordo.
