Support Ernie's Family After Sudden Loss

In Loving Memory of Ernesto "Ernie" Quiambao Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Ernesto "Ernie" Quiambao Jr., who left us on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support. We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial service expenses so we can honor Ernie’s life in a way that reflects the love and impact he had on everyone around him. A bit of backstory:

On Easter Sunday, Ernie experienced a massive and unexpected heart attack, which led to emergency triple bypass surgery that Friday. He came through the surgery doing incredibly well—interacting with loved ones, joking around, and even playing Uno with his 8-year-old daughter. However, on Saturday, his condition suddenly worsened, and he began to decline rapidly. The wonderful staff at Salinas Valley Health showed immense compassion and did everything they could, right up until the very end.

Sadly, Ernie was tired, and on Tuesday evening, he left this world to be reunited with his father, Ernesto Sr., and his Uncle Tomas in heaven.

Ernie was a truly special man—deeply loved and respected by so many. He was a father to four beautiful daughters—Kailyn, Anela, Maile, and sweet Anastasiya—and to his son, Daniel. He is survived by his loving spouse, Vennessa; his mother, Gloria; his siblings, Elaine (Ba), Emma, and his brother Edgar; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ernie was surrounded by overwhelming love and support as he made his transition, a true testament to the impact he had on those lucky enough to know him. This tragedy was sudden and unexpected, and as a family, we were unprepared. We are humbly asking for help to give Ernie the memorial he deserves and to provide some relief for Vennessa, who is the sole provider for the family and has had to take time away from work to cope with this loss.

Once arrangements are finalized, we will update this page with dates and times for the services so that everyone who loved Ernie can join us in celebrating his life.

Update, The viewing for Ernie will be on 5/19/2025 @ Alta Vista Mortuary 41 East Alisal St. Salinas ca 93901 from 3-6pm. With a Rosary @6pm.

The funeral service will be the following day 5/20/2025 9:30 am @ Sacred Heart Church 22 Stone st. Salinas ca 93901
