Help Bring My Daughter Home to the U.S. (Child Abduction).

Hello, my name is Ernesto Arroyo, and I am a proud U.S. Marine veteran and father. I am reaching out for your support in one of the most difficult moments of my life.

Recently, I traveled to Brazil with my daughter to visit her mother. Although her mother and I separated years ago, and I have legal custody of my daughter in the United States, I wanted to give my daughter the opportunity to maintain a relationship with her mom. As a Marine I learned that we don’t leave your body behind and I won’t be leaving my daughter in foreign country.

What was meant to be a short, peaceful visit turned into a painful and unexpected custody battle. After a month in Brazil, her mother is now refusing to return my daughter and is challenging my custody rights from abroad. Being in a foreign country, I now face legal and logistical hurdles that are costly and emotionally draining. unfortunately, the U.S Embassy can only provide resources such as contacting a brasilian attorney and notifying department of state for child abduction.

As a father, I’m doing everything I can to fight for my daughter’s safe return home. But the legal fees, travel expenses, and international legal processes are overwhelming. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
