No solo por sus margaritas, ni por sus más de 33 años detrás de la barra…

sino porque es de esas personas que uno recuerda.

El que saluda con cariño.

El que escucha.

El que se queda después de su turno para ayudar.

El que nunca dice que no cuando alguien necesita algo.

Un hombre bueno, sencillo, trabajador, y querido por todos.

Hace poco, la vida le dio un golpe muy duro.

Complicaciones de la diabetes llevaron a que le amputaran la pierna debajo de la rodilla.

Todo pasó rápido.

De un día para otro, quedó en el hospital, sin seguro médico, sin poder trabajar, y enfrentando una recuperación que da miedo solo de imaginar.

Aun así, Piedro sigue con la misma fuerza de siempre.

Con la misma fe.

Con las mismas ganas de salir adelante.

Pero esta vez no puede hacerlo solo.

Necesita ayuda para cubrir tratamientos, medicamentos, terapias, transporte médico y equipo básico para poder moverse. También necesita apoyo para lo más sencillo: comida, vivienda, y los gastos del día a día mientras no puede trabajar.

Si alguna vez te atendió con una sonrisa, si alguna vez te alegró la noche,

o si simplemente quieres ayudar a un hombre que hoy está luchando por empezar de nuevo…

Not just because he’s been there for over 33 years,

not just because he makes the best margaritas,

but because he’s the kind of person you don’t forget.

He’s the one who greets you with warmth.

The one who listens.

The one who stays late to help a coworker.

The one who shows up for people, always.

A good man. A humble man. A man loved by many.

Recently, life hit him hard.

Complications from diabetes led to the amputation of his leg below the knee.

It all happened so fast — suddenly he was in the hospital, with no health insurance, unable to work, and facing a recovery that would overwhelm anyone.

And yet, Piedro is still fighting.

Still hopeful.

Still trying to move forward with the same spirit he’s always had.

But this time, he can’t do it alone.

He needs help with medical treatments, medications, physical therapy, medical transportation, and basic equipment like a wheelchair. He also needs support for the simple everyday things — food, housing, and basic living expenses while he’s unable to work.
