On June 5, 2025, my mother, Ernestine Joyce Burden, gained her wings and left a space in our hearts that can never be filled. She was a quiet strength in our lives—always giving, always loving, and always there when we needed her most.

As her son, I’m doing my best to honor her memory and give her the peaceful farewell she deserves. This was a sudden and unexpected event that none of us were prepared for. Unfortunately, my mother did not have any insurance to cover funeral expenses, and it is more than I can carry alone.
