Ernest has been fighting stage IV lung cancer. Despite treatment, his cancer has continued to progress. After many difficult conversations with his medical team and loved ones, he has made the decision to focus on comfort and quality of life through hospice care.

Anyone who knows Ernest knows his strength, humor, and the way he cares for the people around him. This diagnosis has been devastating for our family, and right now our focus is on spending as much meaningful time together as we can.

As we prepare for what lies ahead, we are also facing the financial reality of end-of-life expenses. This fundraiser has been created to help cover funeral and memorial costs, as well as other expenses that arise during this time.
