Support Erio Castillo's Fight Against MDS
Donation protected
On July 15th, my father, Erio Castillo, was hospitalized due to dangerously low blood counts. After 10 days of tests and treatments, he was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a serious blood disorder that prevents his bone marrow from producing enough healthy cells. This condition affects his overall health and is now life-threatening, requiring a bone marrow transplant for his best chance of survival.
Since his diagnosis, Erio has undergone regular blood transfusions, lab tests, and emergency hospital visits. He’s currently preparing for a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, while also receiving chemotherapy every four weeks to slow the progression of MDS.
This sudden and overwhelming health crisis has made it impossible for Erio to work, and the medical bills are adding up quickly. Between treatments, hospital stays, medications, and long commutes to Mayo, the financial strain is heavy. Despite it all, my dad remains hopeful and determined to beat this.
We’re asking for your help to support his journey. Any donation, big or small, will help cover his medical expenses, medications, and travel costs for the critical care he needs.
Your generosity means the world to us, and we’re grateful for any support during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with Erio as he fights for his life.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help ease the financial burden and give him the best chance at recovery.
