Hello! My name is Erin -  I am a 23 year old salon receptionist and an artist. 

I started to openly transition socially about two years ago, however I still have a ways to go in terms of medical care and feeling fully actualized. 

I started HRT (hormone replacement therapy) in 2017, but have had a hard time steadily supporting it financially, as well as setting aside money for surgeries to help me feel more comfortable in my own skin. 

Thankfully HRT is the least expensive of the process, but I know that it goes beyond that. 

First, facial feminization surgery (ffs) is rather pricey - starting around $6,000 and is a variable price depending on the work that needs to be done. This includes Tracheal Shave, rhinoplasty, genioplasty, and hairline advancement. 

Secondly would be a breast augmentation, which is a common surgery. However, augmentation is not very cheap with a price sitting around $8,000. This procedure is as important to me as tracheal shave to reduce the size of the ‘Adams Apple’.

Third, would be electrolysis, which is a very slow process of hair removal on and around the face. This would GREATLY reduce my gender dysphoria. 

I know that I am still very young, but as time passes this becomes more and more urgent to me. The human body is constantly changing due to hormones and I fear that I may never feel comfortable if I wait longer and longer. 

It is incredibly hard for me to ask for money - even more so to put myself out there to the public. I greatly appreciate any and all donations. This is something that sits at the apex of importance to me.
