Erin Matuska is a mother of two children, ages 13 and 18, a friend, a hair stylist, a lover of animals, a daughter to Tracy Matuska, a sister and my cousin. Recently, Erin was involved in a serious car accident on I-494. Her car entered the shoulder, lost control, and rolled, resulting in her being rushed to the hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota on 3/17/26. Erin is currently being treated for a broken neck, back, collarbone, shoulder, knee, pinky and many other injuries. By the grace of God, she did not experience paralysis, a brain injury or any internal organ injuries, but her recovery will require extended hospitalization, surgeries and physical therapy. She entered her first spinal fusion surgery today, 3/18/26.
As a hairdresser, Erin will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. This sudden accident has placed a tremendous financial strain on her and her family. The funds raised will go directly toward covering her hospital expenses, supporting her children’s needs, caring for her two dogs, and helping with basic living costs and vehicle expenses.
Any donations will help lift some of the financial burden Erin and her family are experiencing at this time. Your support, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference as Erin focuses on healing and rebuilding her life. I believe Erin has been covered by angels and know she will continue to be protected and blessed. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Erin and her family in your thoughts.
