Support Erin's Musical Journey to Aspen Music

Hello!

My name is Erin Tsui and I’m currently a sophomore pursuing my undergraduate degree in Violin Performance, under the direction of Movses Pogossian, JiYoung An, and Varty Manouelian at UCLA. Being the first one in my family to pursue music, I’m extremely fortunate to be granted these musical opportunities such as studying under some of the best musicians in the world. As such, the opportunity to study at the Aspen Music Festival would provide an life-changing experience to thrive musically and personally.

The Orchestral-Instrumental program of this eight week long festival that I have been accepted to, is an invaluable experience to preview life as an orchestral musician, working alongside the top orchestral musicians. Regarded as one of the most prestigious musical festivals in America, I believe in the value of being able to perform symphonic music at the highest level and that attending would significantly hone my collaborative skills, something I personally desire to develop and pursue due to my deep passions for the symphony.

However this acceptance comes at a cost of $12,345 which includes tuition and room and board. I am able to cover around half of that amount myself and the Aspen Music Festival and School has granted me $1,300. Therefore, my goal is to raise $5,000 to attend.
