Fourteen years ago, I was diagnosed with an anomalous right coronary artery. Even though doctors told me it had taken a benign path, I never truly felt at ease. For all those years, I lived with fear, always worried that at any moment I could be taken from my kids, whom I was raising alone. I limited my life and my activities, thinking I was playing it safe, but the anxiety never left me.
In 2025, I decided to change providers, hoping for just an updated CT scan. Instead, I received devastating news: the anomaly of my right coronary artery had taken a malignant route and is now being narrowed by 73%. This new diagnosis has turned my world upside down. I have already incurred thousands in debt from five CT scans, a nuclear stress test, and a heart cath. Now, I am facing open heart surgery and will be out of work for twelve weeks. Rent, bills, daily expenses, and car payments are overwhelming, and the mounting medical bills add to the stress. The financial strain is immense, and I am worried about how my husband and I will manage during my recovery.
The funds raised will be used for rent, bills, groceries, car payments, and medical expenses while I heal. Helping my family and I out would mean we can focus on my healing without the stress and burden of financial distress. I will be forever grateful for anyone who finds it in their heart to help. I have never been one to ask for much—it actually embarrasses me. But I know that what we are facing is a huge mountain, and I’m asking my village to help us stay in the climb.
