Hi everyone, Jenna here. I’ve created this page to help raise funds to support my sister and niece, as they’re going through an incredibly difficult journey.

As you may know, Erin is a single mom to a beautiful 5-year old, Katherine. In October, Erin was diagnosed with triple negative Breast Cancer. Since then, bills have been piling up and with her extensive chemotherapy treatments, Erin can no longer work, making living expenses difficult to manage. To ensure Erin’s safety, Katherine has also been pulled from school, which of course isn’t easy for any mom to do, let alone for any 5-year old to go through. But given that it’s only Erin at home for Katherine to play all over, it was important that we ensure no germs were coming home during this difficult time (which of course, kindergarteners carry many germs)

Where we’re at:

Erin has completed one cycle of chemotherapy and is currently underway her second cycle. After completion of her second cycle, she will still have radiation treatments, plus multiple surgeries ahead (including a double mastectomy, followed by a later surgery for reconstruction). Despite the healthcare system covering many expenses, there are still a significant amount of costs that are out of pocket.

Where the funding goes:

As mentioned, without having the option for Erin to work, standard living expenses such as rent, groceries and bills are piling up. Additional costs also include Katherine’s cost of tutoring to keep up with her learnings. These are all on top of the ongoing medical expenses that she’s facing. Any donation is very much appreciated and all funds will be going towards these costs for both Erin and Katherine.

Everything that is currently scheduled will bring us until September. My goal is to have enough support during this time to help ease her mind with all of the financial struggles that she is currently facing.
