On July 4th 2026, The Chelan Hill Fire swept through McNeil Canyon after being ignited the night before by reckless strangers.

Most everyone knows Erin Posey, Roger and Ethan Dietrich- Erin was the Manager at Subway and Roger now is, and they have been hardworking individuals in the community of Chelan who have always appreciated even the simple things, and I have watched them give everything they could countless times to others in need. Now, it's our turn to help them.

Both Erin and Roger were not at home when the evacuation notices went out, but Ethan did what he could by himself: gather the animals, grab whatever he could and get out safely.

The fire came with a vengeance and destroyed their property and everything they owned. They have nothing aside from their pets, the clothes on theie backs and their vehicles.

Currently they need money to buy the basics to get by, and anything else to help while they figure out what next. They Currently have no long term housing, so they will possibly need to have funds to secure a trailer before winter.
