On Saturday, September 13, 2025, beloved father and loyal friend Bob Pickering passed away unexpectedly after suddenly collapsing while at work. His loss has left his family and friends shocked and heartbroken as they now must learn to navigate life without him.

Bob’s absence will be most deeply felt by his wife Erin and two sons, Mason and RJ, who were always his number one priority. RJ and Mason were his world—he loved being their dad more than anything. Of all the roles Bob held in life, “father” and "provider" were the ones he cherished most. Bob and Erin recently celebrated 17 years of marriage together (27 years as a couple). Their wedding day was one of the happiest days of their lives, and their love only grew deeper with time.

Throughout their years together, Bob worked hard to provide for his family. Now, in the face of this sudden loss, Erin is left trying to figure out how to move forward without him.

I am a close friend of Erin’s and I know her to be the kind of person who is always there for others. Bob was the same way—always ready to lend a hand, often with his carpentry skills. This time, it’s Erin and her family who need our support.
