Support Erin Monahan's Battle with Brain Tumor

Hello, my name is Erin Monahan.

My life was turned upside down in July of 2024 when I found out that I have a right temporal lobe brain tumor. We struggled for months to figure out how to get me back to as normal as possible to see if I could even go back to work. Fortunately, my work was amazing, and my many wonderful coworkers shared leave with me, and I was also approved for FMLA. In October, we found out the tumor I have is a grade 2 Astrocytoma or a grade 2 Glioma. These cancerous tumors grow very slowly but can mutate at any time to become very aggressive.

We tried hard to do everything we could to get me comfortable enough to return to work while figuring out a care plan or a doctor able to do a full removal of this tumor.

I have completely exhausted my leave at work as well as my FMLA. As we know with these life events, the bills keep coming; I was able to return to work for a month, but I have not been able to rebuild a savings to pay for all of the bills we have coming in.
