My name is Sarah, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my friend Erin and her sweet cat, Winston Cooper.

Winston was hospitalized late night after suddenly becoming very sick. His liver readings came back extremely high, and he’s been struggling. He’s had an ultrasound, X-rays, and several tests as the vets work to figure out what’s going on. Prior to the hospitalization, Winston has had a lot of vet visits trying to figure out what could be wrong, as he has had many symptoms through out the year.

If you know Erin, you know how much Winston means to her. He’s not just her cat — he’s her little family, her comfort, and her constant companion. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking, and Erin has been doing everything she can to help him get better.

Unfortunately, the cost of Winston’s care has added up quickly, and as someone living on a single income, this has been a big financial strain for her. That’s why I wanted to step in and help — so Erin can focus on caring for Winston and herself without so much worry about the immediate bills prior to insurance kicking in, items that pet insurance may not cover, the deductible, general care, travel expense, and the percentage pet insurance has and does not cover.
