Support Erin with Dad's Surgery

Our beloved, super charming, Dad the dog needs an unexpected life-saving surgery and we’d love to help Erin with the sizable medical cost. It can feel weird to fundraise for a pet when there’s so much need in the world, but it’s my hope that if we can throw together $10 here or $20 there, we can alleviate this distress and strain off Erin.

If you’ve met Dad, you probably can’t help but be in love with her as much as I am. Besides being Erin’s tiny bestie and favorite roadie, she’s worshipped by little Marge and basically any dog who meets her. She’s a sweet charmer and has plenty more years of roaming the country and laying in sunspots if we act fast.

Dad had a lump grow in very quickly a few weeks ago, and last week Erin had it biopsied. The prognosis came back and it needs to be removed as soon as possible. Because Dad has a pre-existing heart murmur, there’s a few extra considerations and steps involved with a surgery on her, which unfortunately expands the cost of her medical treatments.

Erin isn’t someone who is comfortable asking for help, but we’re anticipating the cost of the initial procedure being about 2k. After that, there will be a few follow-up visits and potentially an additional procedure. It’s a lot for one person to take on and we’d also like to give Erin a $500 buffer as she owns a business AND works full time and will need to take (at a minimum) a week off work when Dad is post surgery.
