Support Erik's Heart Surgery Recovery

Everyone who knows Erik knows that he has a heart of gold. His personality fills up any room and demands immediate attention. He is always looking out for everyone around him and will give the shirt off his back, even if it is someone saying something as simple as they like it. He is a boundless light in so many people’s lives. Having to ask for help is very hard for him, but unfortunate circumstances have put him in a place where he needs his community to rally together for him.

Erik and his wife, Ariana, welcomed their sweet baby boy, Lux, on October 15th, joining their family of three beautiful children. However, on Saturday, October 26th, Erik suffered a heart attack. He had visited the ER days earlier, complaining of chest pain, but was ultimately sent home without any treatment. After being home and feeling unwell for several days, he returned to the ER, where he was diagnosed with a heart attack caused by a blockage.

Fortunately, Erik's heart developed a small channel that allowed some blood flow, which ultimately saved his life. However, because he initially went home after the first incident, more damage occurred, leading him to require double bypass surgery. The surgery was successful, and he is currently in the ICU, although his recovery time remains uncertain.

Erik is a hardworking individual who will do anything to provide for his family. He is a loving and devoted husband and father, supporting his wife and four children as the sole income earner for their household. As anyone can imagine, a traumatic event like this places a significant strain on a family. Any donations will go towards medical and household bills for him and his family. Given the uncertainty surrounding his recovery, any support to alleviate stressors would be immensely appreciated.
