Hello, I am Erika and I'm fundraising for my injured uterus.

I must undergo a second Surgical Hysteroscopy under general anesthesia. The last surgery left behind multiple pieces. The goal is to remove all embedded IUD fragments which perforated and embedded into my uterine wall causing pain and complications.

An embedded intrauterine device is a rare complication of an IUD and if not removed poses a continued risk of migration/perforation of vital organs, infection, infertility, and abnormal uterine bleeding.

These procedures remain unbearably expensive for a jazz musician.
