Support Erika's Journey to Overcome Hardship

My name is Erika and unfortunately, this is my last resort... I was laid off back in March and everything went downhill. I was diagnosed with COPD, which affects my lungs, and I've been back and forth to the hospital. I was unable to work or look for work. The limited unemployment I was getting has run out, and I was behind on all bills. I ended up becoming homeless with my son, and I've been keeping a roof over my head with unemployment and Ubering. However, today my car was repossessed because I'm behind almost 2 months, being as if I was keeping us safe and full. I also went to DHS and was turned away because I made too much with unemployment. I have since got two jobs; one starts at the end of the month, but with no car, I can't go. Plus, the hotel I'm in, I can't get transportation to take my son to school, and we are supposed to check out on Monday. I also have my elderly Mom who is on oxygen that I’m taking care of she lost 75% of one of her lungs removed by being hit my a car and she has a terminal illness . I wasn’t going to mention her but I would be remiss by not saying anything about her I don't usually put my business out, but anything helps if you can.
