Support Erika's Fight Against Cancer

Hi my name is David and I am fundraising for a colleague that is a great mentor for the construction industry and his wife is going to some medical situations that where accounted at this time.

In October 2020 Erika had suspicious for lymphn node metastasis given history of papillary thyroid cancer. Erika had surgery were she spent $40,000 in all the expenses of every test and all that was done.

All this with every 6 months check up to see the progress and see if the cancer would spread and after 2 years, doctors said she needed to rest 2 years to see what the outcome will bring and see how the body reacts to all the procedures done before.

Turns out that now after 2 years passed, Erika has to yet again spend money on ultrasounds and 4 injections to just get the ultrasound done to see if it has spread or not. Each cost is about $4,000 each and have to be done before the ultrasound one after the other in a time span of 4 days so that is $12,000 just to see what type of surgery she needs.

The funds will go to the main thing the ultrasound and this will only determine how soon the surgery will be done. So that will be another expense to have the surgery and this will come out to about $ 45,000.

Problems of insurance will make this a very expensive ultrasound and surgery.
