"Hello, my name is Erika. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2020. I had to get surgery to remove all of my thyroid gland in 2020.. At the beginning of the year 2025, they told me that the cancer had spread to my throat, close to the esophagus. So, I would have to go through chemo. I started chemo in October 2025. I'm currently still doing chemo as of 11/25. It's not easy to go through this. I'm a single mother, and my focus is to recover because my sons need me. I'm being as strong as I can for them. I have faith that I will get through this and everything will be okay soon. The funds raised will help cover my medical bills and to help me out and my son.
