My son in law Erik Wheat has been in the hospital for over a week now with fever of undetermined origin. His platelets have been dropping dangerously low and his heart has only 30% functioning capacity. He is now in ICU at UT Southwestern and all kinds of tests are being done to determine what is causing the fever, the drop in platelets and the malfunctioning of his heart. There is still no answer.   He is transitioning from one job to another when he  got sick  and we are unsure what medical insurance will cover. We appreciate any kind of support from friends, family and the community in this difficult time.
