Support Eric's New Hearing Dog Training

My name is Donna Krupa. I am guardian to my developmentally disabled brother, Eric.

We just found out that his service dog (hearing) is not going to live much longer.

Eric has had her for 11 years. She not only helps him with his hearing, she also brings a certain amount of peace to his life. Since acquiring her, she has kept him out of the hospital for the past 11 years. Prior to having her in his life, he would have regular hospital admissions for intestinal obstructions. Since she came into his life, he has only been hospitalized twice (once for 8 hours and once for 4 hours).

We will be acquiring a new dog but have to service train ourselves as the organization we got her from (NEADS) has a 5-year waiting list. So, I set up this page to offset the training costs. We have a trainer in the area who is willing to work with us to get the dog certified as a hearing (service) dog. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
