Support Eric's Journey to Walk Again
Donation protected

- Many of you know my son Eric's story, but for those that don't, Eric, one of my 11-year-old twin boys, was born with cerebral palsy. He has lived his life as best he can with it. It has affected his lower extremities, making it difficult for him to walk. He has had to use a walker all his life. Recently, Eric had the opportunity to have a life-changing corrective surgery. He had to get both legs broken and realigned, his metatarsals (small bones in his feet) realigned, his calves, hamstrings, and groin muscles have been cut and lengthened to reduce the tension, and his Achilles tendons were also cut to reduce tension. A total of 12 incisions. He was bedridden for 6 weeks with casts and immobilizers, and now we are back in Loma Linda for a month of extensive physical therapy.
So, my family and I come to you for a bit of help. I haven't worked since his surgery so I can stay home and tend to him, putting our family in a financial setback. I'm out here full time with him and my wife drives 3 hours one way every weekend after work just to come see us. All contributions will go to bills and travel expenses. Thank you so much. Any and all contributions, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated.
