Support Eric's Final Journey Home

My name is Angel and I am raising funds for costs of funeral services and transportation of my fiancé Daniel’s adopted brother to be laid to rest in Ohio.
Eric Van Kshywonis, age 42, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024. He was born in Texas to the late Gayle and Bruce Hathaway and after their death was adopted by Steve Kshywonis and the late Donna Kshywonis. Eric faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force. He was employed with GSA for many years and enjoyed spending time with his wife and children.
Steve and Donna Kshywonis adopted Eric and his brother Daniel in Ohio. Eric and his wife Megan moved to Georgia for work. Eric and Megan did things on their own together with their 3 children. It is Steve’s wishes that Eric be buried with his family in Ohio. After agreement with Eric’s wife Megan this became the arrangement. The loss of Eric was sudden and unexpected. Moving Eric from Georgia to Ohio means travel expenses added to the already high costs of funeral arrangements. While we wish to respect the family’s privacy we also wish to honor the family as a unit. I’m asking for donations from friends and family to help with costs for the funeral services. The funeral services will be in Ohio for friends and family to offer support and condolences. A funeral service to the friends and family of the departed, allows them to heal, grieve, and pay their last respects. Costs and associated expenses often add up quickly.
Crowdfunding has become a reliable way for family and friends to raise money to cover the cost of a funeral. Often, those who knew the deceased are happy to help. Donating to a funeral fund can also be a meaningful option in place of sending flowers or cards.
