Hello, my name is Janet , and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of someone very close to my heart — my brother Eric, who is currently in end-stage renal failure and awaiting a kidney transplant.

Before this life-altering diagnosis, Eric was doing what he loved every single day — working as a foreman in blacktop and asphalt, a job he took great pride in. His hard work, dedication, and love for his craft made him respected by coworkers and admired by friends. But all of that changed abruptly when his health took a sharp turn, and he was forced to stop working due to the severity of his condition.

Now, his life is a constant cycle of dialysis treatments, medical appointments, and waiting — hoping for a transplant that could save his life. On top of the emotional and physical toll, he’s facing mounting medical bills, transportation costs for dialysis, and the everyday expenses that don’t stop, even when your world does.

Despite everything, Eric continues to fight with strength and grace and being there for his children and his granddaughter. He dreams of getting back to work, back to life, and back to the person he was before this illness took over.
