While on vacation in California, Eric Spann was suddenly struck ill and had to undergo major surgery. The diagnosis was cancer, and now Eric finds himself fighting this battle far from home. Living in Georgia, he is separated from his friends and family, facing not only the challenges of his illness but also the loneliness of being on the opposite coast.

Eric's expenses are mounting quickly. Medical bills, living costs, and the uncertainty of when he might be able to return home have made this time even more stressful.
