Eric Morgan is a 34 year old father of two. He was just diagnosed with stage IV (4) Melanoma. Melanoma is an extremely aggressive form of cancer and because Eric couldn't afford insurance, it wasn't caught until after it had metastasized to his liver, lymph nodes, lungs, and spleen. Without treatment, he has up to 4-6 months before the cancer wins, as it has been aggressively spreading. Even in the ten days he has been in the hospital to confirm his diagnosis, it has spread. However, because he has no insurance, he is being discharged from the hospital and sent home to suffer without so much as hospice. His children will have to watch this happen.
He has applied for disability, but it will take at least a month for him to be approved. In the meantime, we are trying to raise funds for his treatment, as well as for expenses for his family while he is sick.
Every little bit helps. If you can't donate, please share. The more people see this, the better chance.
