Support Eric’s fight against leukemia

Hello world! This GoFundMe is being created for our brother, Eric Pineda, and his fight against Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Eric is a 33 year old loving father of two boys. He is a charming son, husband, friend, and respiratory therapist.

On November 2nd, Eric was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). After several blood draws resulting in abnormal results, he was given the horrible news of his cancer. Days before he was experiencing fatigue, nightly sweats and overall changes in his well being. This news has been unexpected and unbelievable. Especially for Eric, the guy who can run for miles. The father who plays “zombies” with his three year old. The uncle who enjoys going to the batting cages. All those who personally know Eric are still in shock and disbelief.

Eric is currently an inpatient receiving IV chemotherapy. As devastating as this new reality is, we can only imagine what Eric is going through. We want to ensure that he receives the best treatment possible. As news spreads, people want to know how they can help and support him. That is the reason for this GoFundMe. To help Eric in his journey. There are so many things for us to consider but with your support we can help get him the best treatment.
