My name is Yvette, and I am sharing our story on behalf of my husband, Eric, and our family during an incredibly difficult time. Eric has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive and life-changing brain cancer, and he is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Due to the severity of his diagnosis and the demands of treatment, Eric is no longer able to work, and our family’s financial situation has changed unexpectedly and dramatically. We are now living on a single income while facing mounting medical expenses, including a high-deductible insurance plan that requires significant out-of-pocket costs just to continue Eric’s care.

Eric is receiving radiation five days a week for 30 sessions, with treatment reassessment to follow, while chemotherapy is administered seven days a week, making the financial strain both immediate and ongoing. As treatment progresses, the costs of medications, imaging, co-pays, and ongoing care continue to add up quickly, creating an urgent financial burden that we are struggling to keep up with.

In addition to medical bills, we are doing our best to maintain everyday living expenses and provide stability for our son while navigating this challenging season. We are asking for support now so Eric can continue receiving uninterrupted treatment and so our family can focus on healing, hope, and time together rather than constant financial worry.
