Eric was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on February 17, 2022. After many rounds of chemo and long stays in the hospital he was able to achieve remission. He needed a stem cell transplant at that time but was unable to obtain one due to a lack of health insurance. He was sent home with the hope that the cancer would never come back. The treatment left him disabled and unable to work and with a constant worry of when the cancer would be back. Unfortunately, in November of 2024, he began to feel unwell again and found through a bone marrow biopsy that the leukemia had returned. The only answer was a Stem Cell Transplant, which he received on February 17th, 2025. He received several rounds of chemo to prepare his body to receive the donor’s cells. The chemo was very hard on his organs, especially his liver and kidneys. Despite the transplant being an absolute success everything that could go wrong did. Eric passed away on May 27th 2025.

He left behind his wife, Chris, and two school-age children, Annabelle 17 and Wyatt 9, as well as 3 adult sons. Charlie, Mark, and Logan.

The funds raised here will assist with Eric’s final expenses, medical bills and the immediate expenses of his school age children.
