My name is Eric and I have three young daughters, Charlotte, Katelyn and Hana. They are 8, 5, and 3 years old. We evacuated at 7:30 PM the night of the Eaton Wildfire, basically wearing what we had at the time. The next morning, knowing our house is still standing while surrounding homes are burning, I rushed back to fight off embers and help firefighters pulling hoses. When I got a chance to go inside my house, ashes and soot covered the entire house. All the beds, furniture, books, toys… basically everything we had. My family was able to get some donations from different organizations and friends on clothes, school supplies, and toys. Three weeks after the fire, I learned that everything inside the house is covered with toxic materials (tested and confirmed with a lab) and need to be discard. I was hesitant about this GoFundMe, but suggested from friends that I should start one to get some help.
Your help will allow us to get items such as new clothes, bedding, school supplies, books and toys for my daughters.
Thank you so much.
