'Eric's Cancer Fund'

If things in this dying world are already bad enough... I found out 12 days ago i have colon cancer. i might not have long to live... it's pretty scary for me. No one told me to have this checked out when i was 40 (2007) Due to having my collarbone broken in 3 + 1/2 pieces and my shoulderblade broken in half... (2008) with 5 color bruises on my chest... sling... barely breathing... Well.. since then I have never been the same. It threw off my gait... & living with a slumped shoulder... after which w. dental emergencies and catscan + root canal... had to endure 2009-2010-2011-2012-2013 living in my late mother's asbestos & black mold 'house' which i spent years clearing out... waking up with 84 cents to my name and living day to day. Anyway.. I don't know id i'll pull thru. When my cT Chi was still hanging in there... after Covid... my weight was 172 Lbs. In the past 9 Months I have lost 12 Lbs. Down to 138. Basically, a skeleton. The colonoscopy i had at CDH showed cancer.. tomour, polyp. Etc. Then I had a Catscan (fun, fun) & then Yet another Appointment which I had to have repeated yesterday at Mass General. The place is like it's own city... Thousands of persons going in and out of numerous buildings all day. The lady surgeon thinks i might qualify for surgery... not sure yet. The other lady (Oncologist) said i can't wait 5 weeks for my next MRI. (i will probably die if i don't have it done asap) SO... now i have to go into Mass General again on Memorial Day for the MRI. After which, i might qualify for the surgery (or not) which would be surgically removing the cancerous tumor tissue from my colon... then being stuck in a hospital bed for God knows how many days. Then radiation and or Chemo at CDH. Fun Fun. I was fortunate to be in fairly excellent health from 1967 to 2008. Stats: colon cancer is the 3rd leading cause of cancer. There are 108,000 new cases per year... it's bad in Australia... & Native Alaskan peoples.. + Native American Indians too.. & it's hitting people as young as 20 these days.. junk food, fast food, poisonous climate.. sitting in front of poisonous internet, etc.

I attribute some of why this happened to me to stress... maybe because i care too much... this is a world gone to hell... things are pretty well f-d. From the 86 Billion animals murdered every year... the Trillion aquatic creatures murdered per year... from the safe limit of world population at 3 Billion tops in the early 1960's... to past 8 Billion now... from Nixon to Reaganomics to Bush to Obama... all war criminals... sick individuals... to Trump having Ice kidnap 3 year olds... and having people openly murdered... to what's going on in Gaza... (insane) and Ukraine... this is a sick world... too bad the human race couldn't instead just read books, listen (or play) music.. & go vegan... adopt animals.. not kill them, etc. I wish i didn't care and just turn a blind eye. I'm far too sensitive for today's world. Anyway... if i don't have a cancerous liver and if i qualify for surgery i might have a chance of hanging in there. That's my goal. It was good to see fenway park though... I miss Luis Tiant, Jim Rice, Fisk, Yaz... when baseball players had hair on their head and personalities... not on steroids making multi-millions. Any & All Donations to help cover my rent + delta dental... would be great to have my rent covered for the year to focus on surviving this mess.
