Support Ericka Riley Harryman's Recovery Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Ericka Riley Harryman, and I’m reaching out to share my story and ask for your support during one of the most challenging times of my life. I’ve always cared deeply about staying active spending time with friends, family and exploring the world around me. I find joy in swimming and walking my dogs as these activities not only keep me healthy, but also connect me with my community. On the late night of August 6th, I was involved in a horrific car accident that changed everything for me. Despite multiple surgeries, the damage to my left foot was too severe, and I was faced with the heartbreaking decision to have an amputation. Along with several other life altering injuries to my back and brain.

This journey has been incredibly difficult both physically and emotionally. As I begin to navigate life after amputation, I’m learning to adapt to new challenges, which include rehabilitation and the purchase of a prosthetic limb. I am now dedicated to recovery and adapting to life with a prosthetic limb. Unfortunately, the costs associated with recovery and medical expenses are overwhelming, and I’m seeking your help to make this journey a little easier.

The funds raised will go directly to my medical bills, therapy sessions, and the necessary prosthetics that will allow me to regain my independence and return to the activities I love. Every donation, no matter how small, means the world to me and will make a significant impact on my recovery.
