My lovely coworker Erica was in a horrible car accident on Feb 1st. She was dropping a friend off when she lost control and crashed, a car than T-boned her car. She had to be extracted by emergency responders. She had a seizures and required intabation for nearly 3 days. She had a skull laceration that required 4 staples, along with she had a brain injury and concussion. She also fractured her C7 and will be in a neck brace for minimum the next 6-8 weeks and needs a walker to get around.

She is now resting at home with her cat Loki, but has an incredibly long road to recovery. She will have to have physical therapy and occupational therapy. She won't be able to drive and can't raise her arms up so simple things need assistance.

During this time she won't be able to do the job she loves as an orthodontic dental assistant at Miller Orthodontics. She already misses her normality of life and her co-workers.
