Support Erica's Fight Against LAM
Donation protected
Have you heard of LAMS? I hadn’t either until my first friend (favorite cousin) was diagnosed. Erica was diagnosed 10 years ago after her lung collapsed suddenly. Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that causes abnormal muscle-like cells to grow in the lungs, leading to the formation of cysts that can damage lung tissue and obstruct airways. This can lead to a number of respiratory symptoms, including: shortness of breath, chest pain, coughing, fatigue, difficulty breathing, and lung collapse.
She lived a normal life up until a month ago. Now she has experienced 3 pneumothoraxes in the last 30 days requiring multiple hospitalizations and surgery. This is creating financial strain for her family. Please donate. Let’s help Erica! Get her to the LAMS institute in California.
