Support Erica’s Courageous Third Fight Against Recurrent Ovarian Cancer

Hi, my name is Erica Rede, and I am facing cancer for the third time.

I have a rare form of ovarian cancer called Granulosa Cell Tumor (GCT). This cancer develops in the hormone-producing cells of the ovary and unfortunately is a recurring cancer.

I have recently started my second round of chemotherapy for this most recent occurrence. Chemo takes a serious physical toll — fatigue, nausea, weakness, body aches, and a compromised immune system. There are days when even simple tasks feel overwhelming. Recovery doesn’t happen overnight, and treatment requires frequent appointments and time to rest and rebuild strength.

If you know me, you know I love my job, hiking in the local mountains and making balloon animals for local children at the Farmer's Market. I truly want to continue working and maintaining some sense of normal life. However, treatment and recovery mean I will need to take days off, which reduces my income at a time when expenses for basic needs are higher than ever.

The funds raised will help cover my basic expenses for the duration of my chemotherapy treatments.
