Help My Wife Erica Fight Stage 4 Cervical Cancer
My name is Jesse, and I never imagined I’d be here asking for help like this. But today, I’m humbly reaching out because my wife, Erica — the love of my life and the mother of our six children — is in the fight of her life.
In August of 2024, our world changed forever when Erica was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. Since then, it has been a painful, emotional, and financial rollercoaster. She’s been fighting with everything she has — undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy, losing her hair, struggling to eat, and enduring constant, unbearable pain. Her once energetic, happy spirit is now confined to a bed most days due to pain in her legs, back, and neck.
Watching someone you love suffer like this is something no husband or father is ever prepared for. It’s heartbreaking to see my strong, beautiful wife in tears, exhausted from the battle, while still trying to smile for our children. We have six kids, three of them very young, and they miss their mom — the woman who used to play, laugh, and dance with them. Now, they tiptoe around the house, asking if mommy is okay.
I’ve had to stop working full-time to care for Erica and our children. Between constant doctor visits, hospital stays, treatments, and day-to-day care, I can’t be away — she needs me every step of the way. But with me not working like I used to, the bills are piling up. Medical costs, utilities, rent, groceries — it’s become more than we can handle. We’ve fallen so far behind, and every day feels like we’re slipping further into a hole we can’t climb out of.
This is the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. I feel helpless. I feel broken. I’m doing my best to stay strong for my family, but I can’t do this alone anymore. We were once a happy, active family — now our home is filled with fear, worry, and tears.
If you can find it in your heart to help us, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story, it would mean everything. Every single dollar helps keep the lights on, food on the table, and Erica’s treatment going. More than that, it gives us hope — hope that we can keep fighting, together.
Thank you for reading, for praying, and for standing by our side during the hardest time of our lives.
Thank you all
