Support Erica Taylor's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is Erica Taylor I am a 42 year old native Houstonian and a self-sufficient mother of one daughter. Recently after a 25 year relationship and marriage, I’m divorced.

I have been employed with the United States Postal Service for the last 7 years and I was given some devastating and life changing news that’s affecting me, my life and ALL of my loved ones.

It’s STAGE 3 BREAST CANCER.

We all know how horrible that is and hate it, as well. Due to the diagnosis, I haven’t been able to work as I usually do. My brother passed away 4 years ago from cancer and that makes me even more afraid of this situation. I was denied for short term disability from my job. It’s disheartening that I can’t rely on my health insurance to help me sustain my life style, pay for treatment and at the very least, be able to provide for myself during this trying time.

Usually, I am the strong friend, I’m always there to assist my family when they need help…. Now, it’s my turn. Asking for help from the public is kind of awkward, as I am used to providing for myself. Anything will help me, even a prayer. However, I humbly ask for any donation you feel inclined to provide. I am so grateful and I look forward to the day that this disease won’t be stealing my mind, body, and soul.
